BT's new Transport Management System: Transmate

On 1 July 2020, BT Transport & Logistics and our specialised divisions, LDJ Logistics and S&S Freight Services, are switching to our new Transport Management System: Transmate.

While this change will bring many benefits, as with any change or new system, we anticipate difficulties in the transitional phase. We are therefore using traditional hardcopy PODs alongside our new Sign on Glass solution for the month of July and are working with all our stakeholders to make the transition process as smooth as possible.

Customer Information 

With the launch of our new platform on 1 July 2020, as our customer you will gain 24/7 access to your online portal, where you can check the status of your consignments, Proof of Delivery (POD) and more. The portal will be available from 1 July 2020 via our login page toTransmate Online.

Sub-Contractor Information

Our new system will significantly change how we operate as an organisation, and this will involve our sub-contractors. With all our BT, S&S and LDJ PODs becoming digital, we are aiming to phase out any hardcopy paperwork within weeks following the launch of Transmate.

If you are an existing sub-contractor of ours, you should have received your individual Sub-Contractor Codes (and, if applicable, additional Driver Codes) to sign up for the Transmate App. We will contact you as soon as the apps are available for download in the app store, and provide you with information on how to sign up, log in, and complete a consignment using the app. 

The accounts processes for our sub-contractors will remain unchanged.

With BT Loading Bay, we have created a platform exclusively for our BT-accredited sub-contractors to find loads across Australia. The Loading Bay is also available from 1 July 2020.
