Industries we service with Resource Logistics services

We service Resource Industry clients Australia-wide with a broad range of services.

BT Transport & Logistics has been involved in various constructions of solar farms and wind farms, proudly supporting Australia’s Renewable Energy sector. Moreover, we provide in-gauge and out-of-gauge movements, heavy haulage and more for construction of and infrastructure around new mine sites or mine site expansions and oil and gas projects in Western Australia, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.

We serve the government with civil construction and infrastructure projects supporting the resources sector. This also includes transport and storage of all manner and sizes of pipe, for instance for water pipelines and gas pipelines.

Rig Moves are an important part of our Resource Logistics activities, and we have processes and procedures in place to ensure that each Rig Move is performed safely, efficiently, and compliant with legislation and customer requirements. We can provide efficient door-to-door service, or for import and export off-wharf service, mobilising state-of-the art equipment for every rig move, such as cranes, trucks, vessels and rigging equipment. For overseas moves, the expertise of our international partners can be used, resulting in best practice door-to-door service.

Why customers choose us for their Resource Logistics

Best Practice
Working with some of the most exacting companies in the oil industry has given us the experience to offer a set of best practice systems and procedures when it comes to rig moves, making implementation safer and faster.

Responsive Coordination
Monitoring the progress is a critical component to the BT approach which has a strong focus on outcomes and an uncompromising proactive issue-identification process to avoid problems or delays before they occur.

Tailored Solutions
Although a great deal of effort has been applied to develop best practices, each resource logistics project is slightly different. Part of the planning process is therefore to identify where customization needs to take place and leverage the local knowledge of our teams.

Continuous improvement
Post-move reviews: After a resource logistics move, so-called post-move meetings are organised together with our client to evaluate the project. The relevant aspects are updated in the manuals to close the loop.

We have a track record of satisfied customers in the resources sector, and we strive to not only meet, but exceed customer expectations.
